Mathematics GRE Waiver Petition

Applicants to Illinois State University's Mathematics program sequences in Applied Statistics, Biomathematics, and Mathematics may petition to have the GRE requirement waived if they have a GPA between 3.2 and 3.6.

The petition must be submitted to demonstrate academic excellence and should include evidence such as major GPA, peer-reviewed publications, grants, awards, and other relevant achievements that show potential success in the program.

Eligible applicants may petition for a waiver by providing the information below. Approval for a GRE waiver will be reviewed by the Department Chair for the Mathematics Program based upon all available information regarding your potential success in the program.
