    Graduate Recruitment Assistance Program

    2024-2025 Recruitment Year

The Graduate School provides funds to assist departments in recruiting a greater number of quality applicants. Initiatives can vary by need of the unit. Examples include printing or web-based recruitment materials, interview costs for recruiting outstanding students, participation in recruitment fairs or recruitment activities at professional meetings, etc. This program will not fund university faculty/staff salary or extra pay.

Departments are eligible for up to $700 per program, with a maximum amount not exceeding $1,400 per department (masters and doctoral). With limited recruiting funds this year, departments may see a decrease in the amount of funds approved versus requested. The deadline to apply for funding is March 1, 2025 and is on a first come basis. Remaining funds will be made available for additional requests or for Graduate School recruiting efforts. Allocations will be made until funding is exhausted.

Recruitment activities must be expended/invoiced by the end of the fiscal year (6/30/25). If funds have gone unused, we will ask that the funds be transferred back or carried over for the following year. (If a carry over occurs, the following year's request will be decreased by the carry over amount.)

Please review the guidelines document before submitting your request for funds.
